SPOT
High resolution, stereo imaging satellites constellation.
SPOT is a constellation of
high resolution, stereo imaging satellites designed by the CNES, the
French Space Agency, and operated commercially by Spot Image. The
system has been in operation since 1986 when SPOT 1 was launched and
today SPOT 2, SPOT 4 and SPOT 5 are operational. The design of the
SPOT constellation allows for a high revisit frequency which has
created an extensive archive of current and historical imagery.
